THE MACHINES ARE COMING! – AI DEEP LEARNING CONCRETE PUMPING MACHINES ARE HERE TO STAY.

Social Sharing

2020 is upon us. Another Decade in the new Millennium has passed and, although we aren’t flying around in Jet packs (yet) -  at the rate technology and the world is developing this might still be a possibility in our near future - .

More modern terms are being flung across our computer screens, phones, tv’s, like AI (Artificial Intelligence); ML (Machine Learning) and the famous IoT (Internet of Things).  While these terms have reached an almost parodistic level since conceptualized in the last decade, the impact behind the business of incorporating these ideas is increasing in all sectors of the business world, including the building and construction industry.

Technology has officially merged with the way we think, do everyday things, buy things, and this together with IoT is fueling hyperlocal advertising where business as well as customers can track purchases from initialization to completion with smartphones accessing instant location information it has taken advertising to a whole new level.  We are also able to track customer satisfaction nearly instantly through short surveys, instant messaging , and old but not old-school – Email.

PUTZMEISTER INTEGRATED INTELLIGENCE

Keeping up with Technology has never been a challenge for Putzmeister, as, through their innovative and creative thinking they have always been one step ahead.  Working smarter and hence targeting more productivity through technology, therefore accumulating a healthy balance between customer and technology interface.  Or as we call it here on Planet Putzmeister – HMI.

Putzmeister’s “customer centric” approach, allows the complete exploitation of modern technology to its full capacity in merging what the customer wants and needs with future technologies to create machines that are not only user friendly, but also consider the global ecological footprint, proving that eco-friendly does not necessarily mean compromising on efficiency or quality of power and output.

The Human Machine Interface (HMI) of our machines is intuitive, comfortable and supports working proficiency and computerization.   The concept enables automation ready for future applications like 3D concrete printing and this together with its contemporary attitude navigates the technologies to it’s advantage creating reliable machines proven to work in extreme environments and still deliver exceptional standards and durability by the simple triangulation of a control panel and several buttons.

TO MODERNIZE - OR NOT -

Let us not get ahead of ourselves (or leave people behind).   Although all these technologies are evolving at an alarming rate, the Human factor cannot be illuminated quite yet even with all our dreams and hopes of “Ruling the construction world”,  the current reality of some concrete and construction markets are not quite ready to move into this galactic space era and still very much depend on the manual building tools.

There is still a place in this world, and especially in our market, where the ethereal has not quite taken over yet, and if they have, they live in a harmonic symbiotic relationship with their current environment .  While we wait for everyone to “jump” on the “proverbial” “wagon” however,  it is still our absolute pleasure and ambition to supply and deliver the best Putzmeister concrete construction solutions – whether you already have your Machine plugged into the “world online” or work the ever reliable manual lever – we are here for you.
