Lurpelan tunneling has a strong trajectory in shotcreting for the maintenance of underground all over the country always trusting in Putzmeister equipment.

The main goal for the project is face up to the needs of a potential traffic between Madrid and Lisbon it also will help to the traffic among Madrid and Extremadura. The proposal is focus on tunnels that will commute Madrid and Lisbon.

Right now, they are developing a subway in Malpartida de Plasencia (Cáceres) moving up to 1,8 km with the Portuguese border, where our machine is shotcreting about 40 m3 per day.

The tunnel heigh is 6 m approx. so it’s ideal for our Putzmeister Wetkret 5 to its ergonomic spraying arm that can reach 17 m of vertical spraying.

The additive used is alkali free additive, this kind of material is more save for the operator than the alkaline additive thanks to its lower PH for the skin, in addition it improves the vertical spraying and decreasing the rebound effect.

Thanks to the concrete pump of low pulsation with its 33 m3/h output which with the additive synchronization with the concrete flow, the quality in the projection is guarantee. Furthermore, this equipment includes a compressor and cleaning system integrated in the chassis, making it autonomous and everything controlled by a remote control and intuitive software.

For Lurpelan, the underground infrastructures are a key element in improving communications, which makes it possible to reduce distances, eliminate geographical barriers and minimize the impact on the environment. With this goal, the company was established in 2006 and in this period it has managed to position itself as one of the leaders in the sector in the Iberian Peninsula.
