User information for Putzmeister machines with communication module

New machines manufactured by Putzmeister Holding GmbH or companies in which it has a direct or indirect majority shareholding ("Putzmeister") are equipped with a communication module that allows various machine data to be transmitted to a Putzmeister cloud server via a mobile phone data connection. Most older Putzmeister machines can be retrofitted with this module. For machines that are placed on the market in the European Union, the communication module is deactivated ex works as standard. The following information applies in the event that the communication mod-ule has been activated:

I.    Type, format and estimated volume of machine data

1.    Type: Putzmeister collects the following categories of machine data: Machine master data, data on operating time and location, technical status data (in particular regarding consumption and functions), error messages (together "machine data")

2.    Format: Excel file via data export from the machine cockpit or JSON via HTTP API data interface

3.    Estimated volume: The volume of machine data depends on the actual utilisation of the Putzmeister machine.

II.    Generation of the machine data: The machine data is generated continuously and in real time.

III.    Storage of the machine data: Putzmeister transmits the machine data to a Putzmeister cloud server. It is stored there for 9 months.

IV.    Right to data access: Within the territorial and material scope of the EU Data Act, users of Putzmeister machines about which machine data is collected and stored have a right of access to the machine data generated by their use (Article 4 (1) EU Data Act). Putzmeister fulfils this right of the user with the help of the Putzmeister Maschinen Cockpit at the user's request. In the Putzmeister Maschinen Cockpit, Putzmeister provides users with their machine data simply, securely, free of charge, in a comprehen-sive, common and machine-readable format.
