Great Project Progress at Wien Energie GmbH

Great progress in the project. In the last few days, the delivery of Putzmeister machine technology, including two KOS 1480 with S-pipe technology, took place at the Wien Energie GmbH plant in Simmeringer Haide.
Thanks to continuous development at Putzmeister, the S-tube technology in our latest KOS pumps has been optimised to such an extent that it offers a clear competitive advantage, especially in the treatment of sewage sludge. S-tube technology has now been firmly established at Wien Energie for almost 20 years.

The most striking change from the old to the new pumping line is the equipment with a reception bunker and a silo per pumping line. This provides the operator with a reliable, continuous incineration process. The resulting storage capacity can be used to cover peak periods and bridge periods without sludge supply. This creates potential cost advantages through constant energy use.
