Putzmeister Mortar Machines showcases sustainable innovations at INTERMAT 2024

Mar 8, 24

At INTERMAT 2024, the exhibition for sustainable construction solutions and technologies, the Putzmeister Group will be presenting innovations that focus on reducing C02 emissions - as well as other innovations for greater sustainability and efficiency. A P 730 piston pump and the SP 20 GHF self-levelling screed pump from Putzmeister Mortar Machines will be on display at Villepinte from 24 to 27 April. The international trade fair for the construction and infrastructure sectors offers trade visitors an ideal opportunity to find out more about these machines from the Putzmeister subsidiary.

Putzmeister Mortar Machines GmbH, a fully owned member of the Putzmeister Group, develops, produces and supplies one of the world's most comprehensive ranges of high-performance plastering machines, screed conveyors and fine concrete pumps suitable for construction sites. The company will be represented with these machines at Intermat 2024:

The P 730 TE piston pump with electric motor - quiet, lightweight and environmentally friendly

The advantages of a piston pump with an electric drive speak for themselves: it is quiet, environmentally friendly and saves money. The P 730 TE works with a 30 kW electric motor - making it ideal for pumping fine concrete with a grain size of up to 32 mm and for shotcrete applications in urban environments, for example. However, this machine has also been thought through down to the last detail for the operator: perfect protection against concrete splashes is provided by a large, folding hopper with rubber collar (360 litres), a protective grille and a splash guard, which can be ordered as an option. The pump is easy and safe to operate thanks to the well-protected, central control panel with intuitive keypad that works according to the "follow the blue light" principle.

The P 730 TE impresses with the following features:

  • Powerful, tractable piston pump for easy access on any site
  • High performance thanks to the robust compact pump for high delivery rates
  • Convenient thanks to the central, ergonomic control unit with intuitive keypad
  • Well protected by large hopper (360 litres) with rubber collar and protective grille
  • Secure stand on support feet or skid frame
  • Optimum accessibility to maintenance points
  • Cost-saving due to reduced service costs with maintenance-free components

SP 20 GHF – Lightweight, compact self-levelling screed pump with economical diesel engine

The compact SP 20 GHF worm pump is specially designed for calcium sulphate (anhydrite) and cement screed as well as for shotcrete up to 8 mm grain size. The pump owes its performance of up to 20 m³/h to the 4-cylinder diesel engine from Kubota with 37 kW, which complies with "Stage V". This means it can easily pump up to 200 metres away and up to 60 metres high, which corresponds to around 20 storeys. With the help of the "City Mode", the engine speed can be reduced to minimise noise in urban areas. And the electronic control system further reduces the already low fuel consumption. The machine is equipped with a patented vibrating screen, the so-called "ICC" vibrator with three different vibration modes, to ensure a continuous material flow even with flowing screeds with metal or plastic fibres. On the construction site, the unbraked axle and optimum weight distribution make manoeuvring easier. On the road, the low weight of less than 750 kg is impressive. This means that the SP20 GHF can be towed without a trailer driving licence.

The SP 20 GHF impresses with the following features:

  • Ideal for calcium sulphate and cement screed as well as shotcrete up to 8 mm grain size
  • Low emissions thanks to "Stage V" engine
  • Low-noise and powerful thanks to petrol engine
  • Lightweight and compact with a total weight of less than 750 kg
  • Large hopper - ideal for filling with truck mixers
  • Patented vibrating screen with angled profile bars especially for flowing screed
  • Operating safety thanks to central control panel with clear display and intuitive keypad
  • With time-saving patented quick-change system for auger parts
  • Ease of use and noise protection thanks to automatic "Start & Stop" or "City Mode"
